How many "Farewell" tours are acceptable for a musician??!
Question: I was wondering this, because I know Cher made at least 3 appearances in our city on "Farewell tours". Shouldn't there be a maximum limit??

one - isn't the point of retirement to retire & not come back over and over again -- the fact the the farewell tours cost an arm and a leg to go to, they should not be allowed to capitalize on the concept more than once
I think they are starting farewell tours in their 30's now. Didn't Garth Brooks "retire" at 18?
One farewell tour should be the limit, but if some artist or group is popular, they should be able to do multiple days in any given city (but do them all at once -- not one day now and then another day three months from now and then...you get the idea).
