Am i old or what????!
Question: tonight i picked up my 17 year old cousin and some friends of hers and they really aggravated me..lol...i used to be 17 to and i shudder to think about how many people i rubbed the wrong way....oh and omg....a song from billy idol came on the radio and they say " who is billy idol "...lol....that did it for me :)....(sorry mom for the times i made u feel like this ) :)

Never old... Just misunderstood. Just like you, someday they will see and say the same things...

When my daughter was 17 I tried to put myself in her shoes and in her mind-set and for as long as she was in the car with my I could tolerate and even try to enjoy her music.
My parents did that for us.....so I did the same thing for my daughter.
As soon as she got out of my car I turned her music off....LOL
im 17 and im exactly like u--well, like u were. i really have a thing if people ever hated me, so thats why i'm nice and generous to everyone. my only problem is, ppl tak advantage of me b/c im TOO nice. *sigh* sometimes, i wish i was wild like ur cousin..

Since the dawn of personkind, the young think the old are feeble idiots and the old realize that the young are a bunch of green dopes. The old have the advantage of having been green dopes themselves, so they know what the kids are going through.The young have never listened to the old and never will.
It's part of the continuity of life.
