The snarky answerer who said she was "annoying" is totally off their rocker and completely devoid of taste! Open your eyes. buddy... Gloria Estafan is far from "annoying!" Not only is she very lovely and talented, she is also an inspiration and an excellent role model for Latina women and girls...as well as for women/girls everywhere! All those pop tarts whose names are constantly splattered all over the tabloids could learn a thing or two about being a lady from Ms. Estefan!
Not only has Gloria been blessed with success in her music and acting careers, she is also an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. She is also the mother of two children, and has been happily married to the same man, Emilio, for nearly 30 years (1978)...and that's practically unheard of in the rock and pop world! I know several people who have met her in person, and they all tell me that despite being a famous star, she is very nice and unpretentious. I hope I'm lucky enough to meet her someday.
