i agree.i am kinda fed up with her.she is supposed to be all religious and stuff with her mom designing her outfits.if she is shes dressing her daughter like a ****

Uhh, excuse me, but I sense raging jealousy here. Does she have her legs spread wide open during that commercial? No, I don't think so. She's dancing in a studio and laying on gold tinsel in a sequined dress. Whoop de do. Get over yourself "Mary".
And for mentally challenged people like yourself, who aren't paying attention, she is selling satellite television service upgrades.
You're just mad because it's a powerful commercial that works. I'm sorry you don't have what Beyonce has. That's no reason to hate her.
I'm sorry that the Christian religion has brainwashed and clouded your mind into thinking that just because someone shows their beautiful legs, it means to your that they are sluts and to think that sexuality is ugly. There is nothing ugly about human sexuality and beauty.

Natalie O, I really don't think the network executives would allow her commercial to be aired if it was inappropriate for children's program. There is nothing wrong with Beyonce's commercial. It is not obscene or risque.
Why don't you worry about the awful, poisonous food you feed your children, before you worry about something like somebody dancing in a sequined dress or someone laying on tinsel and combing hair with their fingers?.. It's adults that corrupt and pervert things. Kids probably think nothing of the commercial.

I do agree with you to a certain extent she crosses the line sometimes. She forgets that young women get to see stuff like that and look up to that kind of behaviour.
I think the commercial is for direct tv. I understand that how she acts in that commercial is part of the reason she has been so successful in the music industry but I was offended seeing it applied in a different context. All that sexy behavior is starting to be barely tolerated in videos yet alone in a commercial that comes on out of nowhere. It was very bad judgment on the part of her and direct tv. I really like her but that commercial made me think that she's willing to compromise her values for a buck and that's not attractive. That is just straight up prostitution.
EDIT: I am not jealous or a religious zealot. The images don't belong in random commercials that parents don't have any control over. Again, I feel that it shows bad judgment on both sides.
Well, that commercial isn't the only commercial of that nature that plays when it shouldn't. I.E. a christmas program. Celebs have no control over when a TV exec is going to air a commercial. So, you not liking her all of a sudden because her commercial aired during a time when children are around is kinda dumb. She is a very talented young lady. I totally understand, I too have a little one. But I'm sure if it was up to her, no sexually explicit commercial would air during children's programs.

I read some of these answers first and believe me... you wouldn't see Marie Osmond dancing like that! There is a time and place for everything, and acting sexy during a children's Christmas show is inappropriate. Two thumbs up, Lady Lousia!!
One more thing... the person who choses the commercials is most responsible than anyone for placing the appropriate commercials with the type of show on the TV.
OMG you guys...it's just one of those Direct TV commercials where they take a scene from a movie or a music video and have the main character promote the offer.
In this case it's Beyonce in her video for Upgrade U.
All they did was redo the scene so that she was promoting the product.

I have to admit the actual music video is rather suggestive, but the commercial isn't even that bad.
As for it being shown during a childrens program, believe me I've seen much worse.
