Does Kelly Clarkson remind you Alanis Morissette somehow?!
Question: I'm not about music, I'm about their success for their first albums and failure of their second albums. Both Kelly and Alanis fail on their second albums, but their kind of success was rather massive. And Alanis used to be an MTV favorite, just like Kelly did. And now Kelly Clarkson can't sing live as well as she used to, her new songs suck, and promotion of her latest album isn't that good.

I just saw Kelly Clarkson live Friday night. She was every bit of awesome. Her voice was strong and wonderful and beautiful. Her album is great. OMG don't give up you day job to become a music credit. You will go hungry.

Kelly's first and second CD did pretty good. This third CD is the one that I think hasn't been the best. They even had to cancel her tour.... I love them both though so I support them.

Kelly and Alanis Morissette are nothing alike. U got it wrong. Kellys second album Breakaway was a masssive worldwide success. Breakaway sold over 11 million copies worldwide. Breakaway went six times platinum in the United States, Australia and Canada. Kelly didnt have so much success with her third album My December. It has sold a little over 700,000 copies here in the US without any record label support. My December is a more personal and intimate artistic singer-songwriter type of album. It wasnt mainstream and commercial like her massive selling sophomore CD Breakaway. Kelly had no support at all from her record label RCA for My December. RCA didnt push her songs from My December to be played on radio so radio didnt play the songs. My December isnt a terrible CD like some people thinks it is. Sure some of the songs are bitter. I never like Kellys first single Never Again. It just didnt grow on me. The negative publicity of Kellys public
disagreements with her record label boss Clive Davis certainly had a negative effect on her record sales. Clive Davis never had no attention of supporting My December at all and he didnt support it nor did he help push any of her songs on radio cause this album was not the type of album Clive wanted Kelly to do. He wanted her to do Breakaway 2 cause the label wouldve made tons of money with an album that was more mainstream and commerical. My December wasnt mainstream or commerical. Clive Davis treated Kelly like crap with this album after all the money she made for them with Breakaway.
Kelly is a great singer live. I dont know where youve been hiding. You should go to one of her concerts. Her voice is amazing
