he is actually none of the above.. i believe that he is irish and his hometown is in ireland.. but he is known as a british pop singer. he was a winner of a british talent show (counterpart of American Idol in UK) X-factor which was produced and created by i think the infamous Simon Cowell. he released his first single right after the competition entitled "that's my goal", and following the said single, released his second single "no promises".. this year (and i think you probably knew this already), he released his 2nd studio album with "if that's ok with you", "no u hang up", and breathless as singles..
