Well, his name is Dr. Jan Adams. Mrs. West had visited a plastic surgeon before going to see Dr. Adams. The first plastic surgeon refused to operate because she was unhealthy and not a canidate for surgery of any kind. Anytime that you have surgery, there are risks. First, she should have not gone against the advice of her first doctor. Second, it is a doctors responsibility to make the patient aware of all of the risks involved with the procedure that they are having. Obviously, she was willing to risk death for a tummy tuck and breast procedure. She signed a wavier saying that she understood that there could be permanent injury or death. I don't think Dr. Adams killed her, not on purpose. Both of them were aware of the risks involved and with Mrs. West being turned down before, she should have accepted herself because being skinny isn't worth dying.
I am an advocate of plastic surgery, I have had it myself but I don't think it is for everyone. Each person should be evaluated on an individual basis to see if they are physically and mentally fit for surgery.
