To be fair, I reckon most of those would have been bought to support Children in Need. It's not a bad song, just not a good comeback single. Even my daughter hates it (age 6) and she's a massive Spice fan.
I reckon they thought that their comeback would be like Take That's. However, as they're lacking a Gary Barlow type (i.e. talented songwriter), it's flopped on its backside.

Seriously though, I think it;s kind of funny. They try to come back in a blaze of publicity and puff, riding on the coat-tails of Take That. They appear to have tripped over said coat tails and fallen on their ar$es spectacularly. Looks like a life of Tesco adverts beckons..!
