Has anyone ever sent a celebrity a picture to autograph?!

I haven't mailed in a picture, but I have written some fan mail and been sent signed pictures back without even asking!
Two big tips for success: always send a stamped envelope, ready addressed back to yourself, in the package with your picture. I've heard that some people who get a lot of fan mail resent having to pay all the postage themselves, just to do someone else a favour. (Also, throwing away your stamped envelope unused makes some people feel guilty about being mean to you.
Second, always, always, always, say 'please' and say how much you would value their signature. Nobody likes to feel that they are just being used a 'signature machine' so let them know you will really appreciate their trouble.

i have never done it. and i have never heard of any of them sending it back. if you want one autographed go to a concert!! then you can see them too =]

I've never sent a picture, but I've sent letters to a few (like to their record label)... they will mail you one in about a month or two.
They want postage though, so send a dollar with it (It's 80 cents)

I never sent one, but I wrote fan letters a couple of times when I was younger and got autographed photos (one was obviously a print, not real) back.
