Question: Didn't she pass away over a week ago? How come they waited so long? It didn't take a week to find out she was allergic to the medicine they gave her during plastic surgery.

I expect they were a little slow because they had to conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death. They probably couldn't set a date till they were sure of when her body would be relased.
Plus maybe since Kanye is famous they are having a big funeral for her that would take more planning time or something.
