yeah she is because of all the negative media attention. i think she is pathetic and needs help. after the crap she pulled at the concert in the UK, i would never listen to her music...she is a loser.
She's really only famous for being an addict. I doubt many people in the States could even name one of her songs. The only place she's ever mentioned is in the gossip websites.
Never heard of her. She can't be that famous. But then again it depends on what you think of as famous.
I've heard of her, but more for her substance abuse problems than anything else -- I don't think I would recognize any of her songs if you played them for me.

its not like shes on every magazine cover but people usually are aware of who she is.
To gossip bloggers & readers and to music critics she is. Her album just went platinum here through word of mouth. If she gets her act together in order to perform here and/or gets nominated for a slew of Grammys she might get really famous in the US.
