Is Paris Hilton the most misunderstood celebrity?!
Question: I personally don't think she is misunderstood. I think Paris is highly intelligent and knows exactly what she is doing and loves the lime-light. I do believe that she never thought for one minute she would ever go to jail. I did not feel sorry for her and I do hope that she learned something from this ordeal.

No. I think people pretty much understand her. She became famous because she's got rich parents, many people find her attractive, and she parties a lot. Then she got her own reality show and went into acting.
What is hard to understand about her?
She is not the MOST misunderstood, but yeah, I do think that she is misunderstood. Paris Hilton gets all of this crap from people because she is rich and famous and she goes drinking and clubbing and what not, but then again, there are so many people that are drugged up, totally out of it and they don't even know what it is like to be a celebrity, not saying i do, but they have to go through so much more stuff than we do. I mean like on top of being a normal human, they have the paparazzi in their face 24/7 and rumors started about them EVERY DAY! I mean- its hard being a celebrity, coming out of rehab and jail. Give her a brake, she is only human, we all make mistakes, why is it so hard for people to forgive hers?
I don't actually believe she is misunderstood. I do think people are horribly jealous of her, and wish to be her. The venom that she generates is a huge sign that those spitting such venom are jealous and/or envious of her life and looks.
I don't actually think Miss Hilton is a beauty, but she is very pretty, well dressed, and has the luxury of a hair dresser, and a makeup artist, as well as the ability to purchase highly expensive clothing which brings out the best in her body and looks. Add in her fortune, and you have a real incentive for people to hate on her.
To make matters worse, she tends to innocently push her affluance in other peoples faces. This does not endear her to many. There are those who wish to just like her, and so they find her facinating, especially her lifestyle, which most young women her age will never experinace.
She is a celebrity only because she is rich, and pretty. She hasn't really done anything to be a celebrity in her own right, not yet anyway.
On top of this you have the fact she is still actually a child. She lacks the adult maturity she might have gained had she been required to work for some of the things in life she has. I don't mean to force her to go without, but to hold her accountable, and at least have chores, and attend higher education is she wishes to keep receiving the largest portion of her trust funds.
I think these very rich and spoiled children have the most difficult road to growth than any other people on this planet.
Because of this I don't think she is very "rich". She is rich in finacial means, but real richness in life comes from the love you have in life, and the work you do to gain real personal growth.
I believe Miss Hilton has a rough road ahead of her. Men will be after her for her income, rather than what she can provide as a companion and mate. I am saddened to see her parents going on and on about how unjustly she was treated with the jail incident.
While I do believe the judge was far harder on her than others in her exact same situation, instead of blaming the judge her parents should point out that the judge would not have been in the position of treating her unfairly had she behaved herself and followed the judges orders as she should have.
Her parents keep her from growing, they keep her a child, and that is not doing her a service. I think Miss Hilton has so many great potential, such opportunities, and I hate to see them wasted simply because she is rich and doesn't need to lift a finger to support herself.
While she may not have to support herself, she does have a moral responsibility to use this life to the best possible growth possible. With her money she could do so much good, make such a difference, without paupering herself.
So, I don't think she is misunderstood, in fact, I think people understand her all too well. The real problem for her is the jealousy she raises in people due to her "in your face" with her money and power. As I said before, I don't think she actually means to behave in such a shamefull fashion, but she seems to pull it off without a clue as to the damage she is inflicting on her own life, as well as her future.
People see her as ineffective, and basically useless fluff. That is too bad because she can be so much more than that.
Don't get caught up in her status, or her looks or her money. She hasn't done anything yet to instil respect in people, or do earn a mark for doing something important in life. She has so much potential, and when she grows up, if her parents allow her to that is, she will do really well in life.
I think Miss Hilton a very sweet and innocent young women who got caught up with more wordly young women who sort of led her astray. I am not saying she is not responsible for her own actions, as we each are, only that she lead a very sheltered life, while the young women she hangs with have not been so sheltered, so they have a better understanding of the world and the consequences, and know better than she does.
With that said, I wish to see make her own mark on the world, outside of TV, and other Media. She has so much to offer and she has intelligence to back it up. She may look and act dumb, but she isn't at all. I truly hope she matures and decides on a positive direciton for her life.
