He is my favourite comedian, I have seen him twice.

Some people don't like dry humour, it is not to everyones taste. That is why he is not world famous. Some people like silly jump up and down comedy like Peter Kay or Lee Evans (Although Lee Evans is my second favourite).
They will call Jack Dee miserable and do not understand how this can be equated with comedy and laughter.
Not many have time for his type of dead pan comedy world wide..........the rest of the world lack the British sense of humour!

I love Jack Dee. I loved that sit com he was in as well, can't remember what it is called now - you'll have to remind me. It was on BBC2 I think. He had a wife and teenage daughter.
Just found out it's called Lead Balloon - new series about to start apparently.
I used to think he was the funniest man who ever breathed air, but then I went to see Jimmy Carr live doing stand up and now I'm not so sure. Its definitely between the two of them, though.

I loved his tv programmes a few years back - they were absolutely side splitting and my fav. sketches were 1) when he spoke of his mum dying - "they put my muumm in a hole, in the ground"!!
2) when he sanded his floor, "oh no, my carpet"!!!
3) Jesus turning water into wine "ta-daaaaa"!!!
Guess you had to watch them - but I have never forgotten them and still use the quotes!!
Sorry to spoil the party but I don't think he is that funny. He does have a unique style granted, but not to my taste I'm afraid.
I think he's probably one of the funniest man alive. I love the fact that he's so dead pan, and yet most of what he says is completely accurate.

Yes - I love Jack Dee, he always makes me laugh. By the way Crackpot, are you trying (unsuccessfully) to be funny by scorning the over educated when you are obviously unable manage basic English; names need capital letters, "too" is not the same as "to", gotta is not a word and I think you'll find "snot nose" needs a "d" at the end.
