Question: mike tyson was the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time ,
many say it was ali............BUT ali says himself ,tyson was better...
un-clued up people beleived mike tyson to be a bull neck brawler slugger with no skill as a boxer, just knocking guys out ,
i can tell you now , mike hits very hard with both hands , but the guys he was knocking out were pro boxers and that takes skill ,
mike had power , speed , stamina , knowledge , and unbeleivable skill / defence and was a true scientist , a pure master of the game, and thats why he was undisputed heavyweight champ of the world when he was just a baby boy ,
he had the best schooling you could ever get ( cus d amato )
so for all the idiots who dont like mike , watch these clips and then re evaluate your opinions
this guy has had it very hard , he put up with alot of crap , and i love the guy and i wish him a very happy life to the end

I am with you bro. Mike Tyson in his prime was a force of nature . Many people take away from his boxing accomplishments because they don't like him as a person.
mike tyson had it all, speed and power, combine that with rage. nothing can beat that.
he was the youngest ever to win the heavy weight title. imagine being in your 20's and saying you can beat the crap out of anybody in your neighborhood and actually be able to do it. he's a beast, a freaking monster!
Ali was much more entertaining, both in and out of the ring.
He was a great fighter mike, but did not have the mind and skill as Ali, Tyson is one of my fave fighters hardest hitting fighter shame he could not control his temper...he still is one of the best heavyweights of all time in my books

I don't like Mike and it's got nothing to do with whether he can box or not. This guy IMO is scum.
If you obtained a time machine and found Ali at his best also Tyson at his best and put them in the ring together then in my opinion Ali (or Clay) would win. There is no doubt about how powerful Tyson was, however Ali would out box him in such a way that Tyson would lose his temper and lose control as he would be able to get near Ali. Then Ali would step forward and knock him out. If it came to a points decision then Ali would win by being the better boxer. The other thing you must remember is Ali's opponents were probably a better class than Tyson's. A young Larry Holmes or a young George Foreman or a young Joe Frazier would have probably beaten (or come close to beating) Tyson.
