Is anyone else sick of Marie Osmond trying to win Dancing with the Stars with sy!
Question: I couldn't beleive last night when she said something like 'give me a break; I'm 48 years old'. Who cares how old she is!! Plus bringing her million children on, talking on ET about her father's death and divorce. Give me a break! Just focus on picking up the pace of your dancing and try to win the competition on dancing talent, not charity. What does everyone else think? (yes, I recognize she's doing pretty darn good for her age)

.... I am sick of her brother appearing on ET as a quasi-judge saying how good his sister is;
... if he is interviewed like any other member of the public, fine, but who's idea was it to make him "spokesperson" for the show...

... if Marie wanted my sympathy about her Dad's death - she should have quit the show on compassionate grounds...or just acknowledge the comments giving condolences - we dont need to know any more: she is milking it for everything it is worth - how SAD is that

They all do it in some form or another. I think her days are numbered. I think either she or Jennie will go tonight. I like Marie but I feel her time is up.
What's your gripe here? She's as entitled to her opinion as you are to yours, or haven't you heard that? She's doing d*** good, at least she's not afraid to try, and no, she can't win it. Neither can Jennie Garth, and she wimps out every week. This sounds very much to me like jealousy on someone's part. If you stop to think about it, WHAT sympathy vote? The Mormon's have kept Marie on the show; the largest religious group in the U.S. You think you can out vote them?
Well, I'd much rather watch her dancing and trying to be positive rather than watch Britney Spears throw her life down the toilet.
Just my opinion. There's nothing wrong with Marie Osmond. She's an entertainer. Period.
Yeah, it is time for her to go - eventually america will get it right. They usually do. Except for the football guy jerry or whoever making it to the final two with drew lachey.

I completely agree with you 100%. Marie is annoying. I didn't mind her at first but now she annoys the crap out of me. She didn't deserve to stay this long in the competition. She should have left that time she fainted.
It's plain you are a Marie Osmond hater..but that woman has more class and character and singing talent in her little finger than all these young "pop tarts" have in their whole body. She's been through hell and back, and I admire her greatly. She's not getting any so-called "sympathy" votes any more than any of the others.
Besides, 48 is not that old. Marie is 9 years younger than Jane Seymour, another very classy lady on the show who just recently lost a family member and had food poisoning so she had to miss some of the shows. Thank God you're not attacking her the way you attacked Marie...cuz then I really would have to cuss you out then.
I think she was just trying to think of something to say and be funny. She couldn't exactly say, "don't vote for me." Everyone has their thing - the soap opera star wanting all of his fans to vote for him and going to the Soap Fest thing. Marie's thing is appealing to women who are her age, a lot of whom are watching the show and thinking how much fun that would be.
And FYI, the Mormon vote mentioned above - Derek and Julianne Hough are both also LDS. The Mormon vote is getting split 3 ways every week!
