Well, the only person you can do an autobiography on is yourself BUT, I think Audrey Hepburn would be a good candidate for doing a biography on.

If your looking for a female with a wild/hectic lifestyle, I would recommend Etta James. She is most famous for her song "At Last." I did research on her in high school and I was shocked! I love Audrey Hepburn, and if your interested in silver screen actresses, what about Natalie Wood? I have never looked her up or anything, but she was just as elegant as Hepburn, so why not?
If you're doing an autobiography, you have to do it on yourself. If you're doing a biography, pick someone who interests you.

Ooh I think Audrey Hepburn would be a good one, or maybe Marylin Monroe. Oh, and if it is an autobiography, it is supposed to be on yourself. I'm not trying to be a smart *** or anything, I know that people just mess up and have typos, but just making sure you know that if the assignment was an autobiography, then it is supposed to be about yourself :-)

A good person to do an biograpghy on is maybe someone like Gil Scott Heron. He has such a rich cultural background. Or maybe perhaps The Dalai Lama, Edgar Allen Poe, Nelson Mandela, Mao Zedong, etc. People who created a movement are always something to write about.
Audrey Hepburn would be good. It's called a biography though, an autobiography is when you write your own life story.
