Does the writers strike proves that many of these actors & actresses really have!
Question: I mean if they can't do anything without a scriptwriter to say lines for them what does that say about them? Does that prove that suppose funny people like Letterman & Leno really aren't funny at all b/c they can't do nothing or make jokes now without a writer? Sure looks that way doesn't it? Real actors & actresses would have real talent with or without a writer.

Well, obviously scripted shows (grey's and ER and the Office) all have writers. But people like Tina Fey and Jay Leno write their own material and therefore are a part of the Writer's Guild. They are fighting to have their writing supported too. They are funny people, but they want to get paid for it. The Office is written in a large part by the actors on the show, and they won't write OR act until the strike is over. Thats why some shows will go off the air before others.
No, it's not the actors and actresses, it's the people that paying the writers that are keeping all the money for themselves. Actors get payed to ACT, not to be THEMSELVES!
Interesting question. But, then, what about these reality TV shows? What's up, with that? Why, are there writers, on these shows.
I think, that we need to really, looked in to those shows.
If, you really think about it, this strike is just another, stunt to get money, the writers, don't really, deserve.
The actors, are the real people here. Because, with out them, why, do we need, the writer? And, why should they, get paid?
When was the last time, an actor/actress, got a raise?
