Who honestly cares about the writers strike going on?!
Question: I sure don't Most of the stuff they write for TV these days sucks anyway. So what if they can't do anymore episodes of Desperate Housewives or any other predictable boring TV Sitcoms of today? I will read books & do more important things with my time. So the writers can threaten everyone to get used to reruns all they want. Won't affect me any. Just my opinion.

Won't bother me in the least...I'm not a big TV person. Not a whole lot on to choose from in my opinion.
I don't care much about the writers. My concern is for the "regular" folks in the support-type jobs (catering, etc.) whose income is being disrupted while the spoiled writer types resolve their greed issues.

I don't think the writers are spoiled at all. They honestly don't get ANYTHING for the work they do. They hardly get paid anything, which a lot of people don't know. They're constantly trampled on and treated like crap, and I think there should be some recognition for the work that they do. All the money goes to the actors, the director, and the producer, but without the writer, there would be nothing to act in/direct/produce. They're not even asking for much.
I don't care about it... TV is mostly crap. The writers make too damn much anyway. It's the poor support staff who are suffering.
It affects Artist too, like a ripple effect.When one Artist field suffers it causes everyone to be in harms way in related fields.
If I wasn't married to an C.G.I. then I wouldn't know this.

You know that if the writers strike goes on long enough, we won't have any tv or movies! Be happy with what you got!
