Cliff Richard makes my flesh crawl. His phoney sentiments and sanctimonous attitude also makes me want to punch him in the face.

I find him boring to, but his records sales (LP's, singles, CD's etc) are in excess of 260,000,000, so someone must think he is not boring.
a-200, He's not that bad!!! I agree that Paul Rodgers with Bad Co. and Free is much better as you say. But, Devil Woman is a good tune.

I'm in my mid 40's and Cliff has been around forever, I guess he's a great all round entertainer, but as a 'pop' singer...um
...He's not exactly up there with Kylie
music is all a matter of personal taste.
Cliff is the only person to have had a top ten hit in every decade for the last 50 years. So a lot of people like him. See if any of todays so called stars can match that in 50 yrs - most of them will be dead from drugs etc.
I am 53 and listen to rap, RnB, reggae etc - music covers all ages, races and creeds. Let's appreciate all music from Bach to The Beatles to Run DMC and Timberland.
