High school musical Zac Efron?!
Question: I watched high school musical concert, and I couldn't see zac efron anywhere singing there and there was a complete unknown guy to me and he was singing instead of him, just the same way like he does. So does zac efron really sing, or always lip-sing and he can't sing?

That was Drew Seely and he sings some of the songs on HSM with Zac because Zac isn't an awesome singer. and some songs Drew sang entirely for Zac, so he did lipsync in the movie. He couldn't be at the concert because he was filming Hairspray in Canada. But in HSM 2 he sings Bet On It all by himself, and in my opinion he's better than Drew Seely!!

No. He can sing. It is that he is busy with other things so he couldn't go on tour. He has got another guy to cover for him. It is a bit silly because he is no where near as good, but hey! I hope i helped with this question!

in high school musical, this guy, andrew seely, and zac mixed their voices cuz zac couldnt sing..but then in hsm2..it was all zacs voice but they fixed it a little
hear hsm and hsm2 songs...and ull c a differece between the voices
you must b talkin' about the first HSM b/c drew seely was his voice b/c zac said that he hasn't sang i a while and didn't really think he voice was good enough to sing live and they blened zac and drew's voice for the soundtrack and the movie

Well he does not lip sing he was not there because he was working on hairspray And he can sing HE IS ALSO SO VERY HOT!!!
Zac Efron did not sing in the first High School Musical. HIs voice was blended with Canadian actor Drew Seeley. Zac did not go to the HSM Concert because he was busy with Hairspray. So Seeley took his place. Seeley sounded like Zac because Troy's voice in HSM was rather Seeley's, not Efron's. But Zac really did sing in HSM2. He stated his voice would not be blended with Seeley this time.
