In Touch reports that Jennifer had an ultrasound performed in a New York office on September 12. “The test calculated that she was about 12 weeks pregnant,” an insider says. “She’s due in the spring.”
Jennifer, 38, and singer hubby Marc Anthony, 39, have been trying to have a baby the last two years but finally had some luck in July with in vitro fertilization — so successful, in fact, that there’s a possibility she’s having TWINS!!!!!
“The way the fetus is lying made it difficult for the doctor to tell if there was more than one baby in there,” says the insider.

Why does she need to publicly announce it? Starting a family is a private thing. She does not have children and this marriage for a living or does she get paid to show and tell everyone. She has been very private about her life since marrying. She has said she wanted to have children and she has said she has had lots of trouble getting pregnant. I respect her privacy and wishes to be an entertainer but still wanting to have a private life like the rest of us.

I think she kept it a secret for so long because she was trying to promote her new music and wanted to keep up a sexy persona. She hasn't been doing too great on the whole business end.
For sure she is. All the recent pictures, and even the tabloids are coming out and saying it. The question I want to know is...Twins or just one? According to "Pravada" online magazine, she had an ultrasound done in september, and is due in the spring. This information is taken from on online yahoo search, and reported as of mid-September. Maybe she does not want to publicly say anything yet until the due date is closer, just in case any problems crop up. I think she may have been pregnant in the past with no resulting baby being born.
She sure is! You know, I don't why she announced it to the public, but it really is official. I'm also guessing that since she has waited so long to have a kid, that maybe she just doesn't want a huge publicity stunt over this. I mean, InTouch and all those celebrity magazines compliment her outfits and you know she is really in to that stuff so she probably doesn't want them saying crap about her glowing because she's pregnant.
Maybe because, despite public belief, its none of anyone's business?
Some people who have problems conceiving don't always wish to jinx themselves just yet they wait till they pass the tri mester to make sure everything is okay.
They have had problems before trying to conceive I think they went to a fertility clinic this time and I heard there having twins which is quit common when women have fertility done.
