Question: What's up with celebrities giving their children these oddball names such as Apple and Cocoa? Are they concerned at all that their children will not be taken seriously as adults, or do they assume their family tree will help them overcome anything?

I think celebrities feel that they need to impress, or outrun others, like it's a race to to pick the weirdest baby name. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin picked Apple because they were afraid someone would pick that name before them. People look up to celebrities for ideas on names, and some will name their child Apple just because Gwyneth did. I agree with you, it will be pretty odd when these kids are 90 years old with gray hair and someone asks them what their name is.
that's cause they're rich and most of the time rich people give there kids the weridest names! Like Paris!
Yeah, I think some of them are extremely weird like Moxie Crimefighter and Bluebell Madonna. Maybe their parents assume just because they are famous they won't get teased growing up?
They want their children to be different. They want them to be stars too. I think Apple is a cute name BTW.

They want attention and uniqueness! they want to be different! I personally dont like it though, I feel bad for the kid!
