Dog the Bounty hunter going offline??!

Question: So dog droped the n bomb in a convo with his son,
should he be kicked off the air for this?

Duane "Dog" Chapman's son taped a private phone conversation in which the reality star used a racial slur repeatedly, then sold it to a tabloid for "a lot of money," Chapman's lawyer said Thursday.

"I guess because of whatever level of anger he had of his father, he felt the need to express it in that manner," attorney Brook Hart told The Associated Press.

Tucker Chapman could not be reached for comment; no one answered the telephone at a Honolulu number listed under his name.

I don't see what the big deal is. Duane Chapman said "the N-word". Big deal. I don't know why the black community thinks the world is so against them. If Dog had called a white girl "Cracker" would he be going through all of this? No. It's pathetic really. Black people can call white people anything they want to, but if someone says "the N-word" all heck breaks lose. Why is it that black people can openly be racist and get away with it? I'm sick of this double standard. Why aren't all the "comedy" shows on BET getting pulled when they openly make racist comments against white people? And what's the deal with BET anyway? Could I make a White Entertainment Television and get away with it? Heck no. The black community needs to get over the whole "white people enslaved my great-great-great grandma" crap. My ancestors were Native Americans kicked off there lands and raped by white folks. You don't hear me crying. I personally think that people are blowing this WAY out of proportion. Duane Chapman deserves to keep his career. He insulted one person. Haven't we all done that once or twice in our lives?

I also find it really messed up that you can't type the "n-word" on Yahoo Answers. Let's experiment...Can we type "Honkey" or "Cracker"? Yes. Go figure.

definitely, it sucks cuz I really respected the guy, I remember passing da kine bail bonds all the time....now his career is pretty much over, he screwed up big time

that really suck i love that show cause its realy exciting,

I forgive dog. Look how many things and times dog has helped others and told them while showing them how to get better. People only care about this cause he is famous. You dont see anyone unfamous recording private conversations then selling them and media making a big issue. Compare what he has done for hundreds and risked his own life and family to save other peoples lives and families. If he does not get back on the tv, there will be no A&E in this house or my families ever again. I emailed A&E about that too. It just makes me upset how funny people react. They dont care until something bad happens and want to be with the in crowd bad mouthing till he is does something right and then people change minds and go o dog is great he helps so much.

people have thier opinions on thier views and everyone is entitled to it. maybe he does not speak that way in front of his kids. On his shows i know he is an actor but is very respectable but everyone has their own lifestyle so maybe people should be more worried on other things like their own issues and families and just forgive dog. but not to offend anyone but even though some see it right and wrong but its strange and definate a racial issue when we see black people saying N word to each other and yet when white say it all hell break lose but still its just like black see it one way and white another. So if you people against Dog then change the channel and dont complain about it. You have a right to watch wat you want and he has a right to say wat he wants. If he is pulled then i guess that all rap is gone that means bye nelly, eminem, fifty cent, twista, huey, snoop, tupac, g-unit, dre, fat joe, ja, biggie, method man, diddy...wow thats millions of dollars that could used to make the world better. Seems its matter of what you want to watch and listen to but nobody forces you to watch or listen to what you dont want to hear. Guess its just how your raised and how you feel. And i cant say much cause people would be offended but think how you were raised. I was raised like Dog around learning about black people and what the N word is and intended for and ya just cause i would side with dog does not say that i dont like any blacks and matter fact i got like 2 black friends but they dont act black. But its how you grew up, what your family is accustomed to and what your beliefs are and its not illegal to have your own PERSONAL conversation untill it is secretly taped then its invasion of privacy.

It's a sad situation because of all the good he has done, and he's getting a lot of backlash because he is a celebrity. He shouldn't use the word. He said he refers to "them" meaning black people as nigg***. He would not like if everyone flipped his name to "murderer" and reminded him of the murder he committed and regrets from his past. As for "Captain Logic's" comment about giving words too much power, it's true. We do give words too much power but at the same time if a word has deep hatred, anger, and abuse behind it, it's hard to ignore. There is no comparison between the n word and white racial terms because white racial terms don't have a history of slavery, hatred, torture, rape, anger, and pain behind them! For your information American_Beauty 59, there is a White Entertainment Television, it's called every other channel you see on tv!

i listened to the conversation and i have to wonder , what is the deal . tucker talks about Lisa . Leland.and Beth . dog says that tuckers girlfriend had been trying to record the family , why on earth would she do that . the n word is said by most people , what is the girlfriend trying to do , get rich . why is it that blacks can say the n word and it is okay , but yet noone else can , i personally could care less if you call me ni**er , cracker ,or anything else , because it is all slang .in my opinion there is more to this story than tucker and his girlfriends side , i go for dogs side and i have know reason to watch a&e without dog on there
