Wy wasn't Talia Shire in the last Rocky Balboa movie? She is still alive in !
Question: Yes very sad she wasn't in it. From what I heard. Sylvester Stallone had written this film as he has done all the others. ( excellent job I may add) and he felt in this film he wanted to show a different direction he has taken in his life with this character ROCKY as you see through the film. Things have changed alot from the earlier rocky's as they do in life and he wanted to bring this to the screen . As you know years have passed and this part of his Journey would be done alone as you will notice in this film he's now alone even though she's still apart of his life. He still has his son and Paulie .
I too wish she was in it even if she had to pass away. It would have been nice to see the two together till the end and him being by her side. But again that would be such a tear jerker there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house. and a bit to long of a movie to have to go through the explanation and the scenes. this way its told to us she's gone and he moves on with the movie.
Either way its a classic.
