Question: I first met him when I was in the 6th grade I believe in the mid-90s. Back then he was well known for Walker, Texas Ranger as well as his previous action roles. He was a very good motivational speaker at my school and always preached mind and body awareness over drugs. He even worked with the whole school on free, basic martial arts moves.
Over the years, I haven't heard anybody say one negative thing about him. He's always very personable and it has been reported that he never turned away anyone who apprached him. Even though I didn't care much for his show Walker I admired the character he played because he was incorruptable and always fought for the underdogs. I think it reflected very well on his real self.
Chuch Norris is one of the best action heroes of all time both on and off the screen.
