well, Elvis got into music completely on accident. A family member bought him a guitar as a gift when he asked for something else (I forget what it was right now.)
so I say fate is tricky and if the brother had lived, maybe Elvis wouldn't have been a musician. Maybe his brother would have acheived fame instead.
It's all a hypothetical situation.
