1. Read the Classified Section in the Newspaper
2. Go to Clubs where they do talent acts
3. If you're in school, perform in talent shows
4. Search the Internet
5. Go to http://www.craigslist.org and find your city
6. Again, if you're in high school, ask if you could do productions like...Honk! or something like that (if they do that kind of thing)
7. Listen to the radio (sometimes they have good stuff & oppurtunities)
8. Go to http://www.facebook.com and if you don't have an account, sign up and there are oppurtunities like acting.
9. Go to Post-Sec School, learn more about acting.
10. Go to http://www.vfs.com (Vancouver Film School), go under "programs" and click "Acting Essentials". After, they will help you find your way.

well, i started with comercials, do that, and tryout for parts in movies.
First would be accredited education like theater school and an agency would help too

get some actin lessons n go out for some autditions
join a theater club, you preform there ,if your good scouters call you and you go from there
you can go to art schools.
its a three step process that many young girls as yourself have accomplised-
first you gotta know someone in the biz... then you have to strip down and show it all.. after you need to sleep with the director.. and then thats it. good luck sweetie
Honestly the worst thing about that industry is that all it takes is one big break. The acting industry is all about who you know, and who they know.
Just act. Find a small theater, find a small production company or a student film, make friends with people with cameras and Act.
Then shamelessly and regularly attend open casting auditions, you might be a natural, but probably won't be. So practice hard, every day, watch people see how they respond in real life situations, and be like them.

k...well this is kinda simple...Get an agent!! research it on realiable recources or if u know someone who knows one..call them! they can be pricey but if u get a GOOD one then ur gunna be well off...ur welcom good luck! =]
go to acting school, or take a lot of acting classes at high school college, also make sure to star on every play that you can (regardless of it is a 'small' production) as you never know where a talent agent might be looking for the 'next' star
Study. I'm a drama student and when I started I thought it was so easy. Honestly, to be really good, you have to work at it. Find a drama programme near you and sign up, apart from that get as much experience as you can. break a leg
Get a degree in acting first. It is not necessary but it will help.Try New York Film academy. They have campuses in NY, La all over. Start off as an extra and you will gain experience. Find every opportunity to act whether it is a school play, a church pageant if you are a church goer or volunteer for a stageplay at a local theatre. Good Luck
Start by taking some acting classes. Also read the indie paper classified's in your area, alot of local filmmakers audition for parts and extras. The key is to get on film so you can have something to show when you go to bigger auditions. Also, take some nice head shots with your digital camera. Don't pay for expensive ones until you get a high paying gig! Good luck.
I'm not entirely sure where you can start, but I have a friend who acts in some plays and stuff.
I think that you should just get roles in theatre or cinematography, and do well so you get well known.
If that doesn't work out, you can go to an actung school, which would get you experience and it would look good, and you could move to hollywood or somewhere where there are lots of acting opportunities.
If you set your mind to it and don't give up, you will get there.
Just try to perform in plays at like a local school of arts, or you could try to get into college to get a degree in performing arts!

of course you need to be good at acting in other words you have to be good at lying because it requires you to match your words with facial expressions.
Try looking in your local yellow pages for talent agencies and join one. Get parts as an extra for anything filming in your area. In the mean time take some acting classes so that eventually the agency could shop you around for speaking roles as well. i can make u an actress and a model if u come to new jersey..then id take u to universal studios here and u'd become an actress.
ok first you need to get in to thearter drama clubs etc.and try to get an agent or in a program like world talent imta thats wat im in im goin to LA soon to go to an acting convention be aware it cost lots of money it also helps to have experience in things like dancing that was you can put it on your resimae. practice a monologe you can get those on the internate call ppl every thing you can do do it buid up confedence.AND you must be able to take NO for an answer HOPE I HELPED GOOD LUCK.also my dream is to have my own show one day
I can understand your searching for ideas and thoughts anywhere and everywhere but honestly becoming a famous actress really depends on the stars (literally) Anyone can go to school, take acting classes ect ect but you really need the hookup like being close to someone who is actually famous or by being chosen by a famous director (a dream come true) I think you should put a good education and/or career first and put acting aside as a hobby if it's meant to happen it'll happen.

your fiscal body... your actions... your way of talking to the people,,, and much more.. but you should a big lier if you want to be sauces full actress.
