Why is Bruce Forsyth still on tv?!
Question: He's naf, his "jokes" are out of date, and he keeps messing up! It's like he never rehearses and can't read the auto cue.

I agree he does look a bit wooden reading the autocue.
And does he always have to drag out the old catchphrase.
With the BBC having to make cuts surely it's time to make room for some new talent who wouldn't necessarily command such a high fee.

Bruce Forsyth is something younger people don't easily recognise because it is so rare.
He is proffesional to the extreme and he has forgotten more about 'presence' than anyone under 40 will ever know.
He has worked with genuine legends...not just spotty little celebs with all the psychiatric problems they are now famous for.
He hosted 'Have I Got News For You' a couple of years ago...check it out. Consumate performance.

i wish they would get rid of him. his jokes arnt funny. i aways fast forward when he starts talking. i also find tess annoying too. her dresses seem to get worse every week
I thought the exact thing yesterday. He's nearly 80, well past retirement age. I used to like him in the Generation Game but he's definatly past it now!
He is on TV and is considered very funny for all the reasons you have listed above!

lets put someone on like that annoying ***** fern cotton, he has style thats why he's still on, all i want do do is punch the tv with some of the s**t presenters on nowadays, and its people that watch the s**t that keeps programs like that on
I know what you mean I have never liked him - kind of a marmite choice.
He reminds me of a cadaver in storage and every so often they wheel him out on the old sack barrow, dust him off, adjust his rug and stick him in front of a live camera and hope no-one will notice that he departed the scene back in the mid 70's which I truly wish he had..

he is a british treasure and a true proffessional!you probably won't understand this as u were to young to c him in his hayday!but this earns lots of respect for a true british entertainer!i'm only 25 by the way so its not like you have to b old to like him !
