Why are child stars always praised in their heyday when we know by now they will!
Question: Like 5 or more years ago Britney was hailed as wholesome but a little too sexy (she never had a perfect image) but she's much worse now. And Lindsay was praised up until she started hanging out Paris Hilton. And we know from history that most of these child stars have issues and are going to show off a mess.
Jessica Simpson was praised for her holier-than-thou I'm going to wait until marriage image, but look at her, she made herself look super dumb on Newlyweds and even divorced after a couple of years, is that really a role model? Miley Cyrus is a good now and in the midst of pregnancy rumors claimed she's going to wait for marriage, but let's see how that really ends in 5 years.
What's the deal, why we always point to these wholesome teen acts as good role models, while we diss the not-so-wholesome acts, even that means those girls are nicer?
I wouldn't reccommend Hugh Hefner's girlfriends as role models for young girls, but they are nice, and they have other goals than PB.

WE know they will most likely be a mess later? Sure, you cite a few bad sources but you don't name any of the decent ones. Hilary Duff is a somewhat good example. So is Kirsten Dunst. I could name more but I'll stop since I think from where you sit, you can't see both sides of the fence.
And I have to say Mario didn't turn out too badly but the way he causally got married and cheated on what was a long-time girlfriend pissed me off. And the ones that really came out messed up was Dustin Diamond and Elizabeth Berkley, lol. Report It
