nah she is really sweet. the first time I saw that video i laughed. but i realize she just felt really bad by making that mistake. some people make think well it's just a dog but she had good intentions. She just didn't realize she couldn't make the decision to give the dog away.
I look at it like this - you signed a legal contract, just because you cried, doesn't change it. Just because your a celeb, doesn't change it. I think the death threats to the organization are ridiculous and I am glad to see someone taking a hard line. Why are they the bad guys, she's the twit that screwed up!
Yes, she's stupid. The rules about adopting animals and not giving them away on a whim are for the poor animals' protection! Oh, sure, Ellen says that the hairdresser is great, her kids are great, her home is great, etc. but the plain truth is that the person wanting to dump a dog is the worst person to trust in making a decision as to what home is best for that dog.
I mean, geez, did Ellen even check out the situation in the other home before giving the pup away? Was she aware the hair dresser had another dog, already full-grown? Did she check to see how the two dogs got along BEFORE saying "Sure, take the pup!" or did she just hope the big dog didn't kill the little dog?
Ellen said she gave the pup away because he was too rambunctious and energetic. Duh! All pups are rambunctious and energetic while awake. Did she want one that slept all day?
She's stupid and obviously knows NOTHING about dogs.
