It is unfair but look at Vanessa now. She is the only Miss USA thats had a career in the entertainment industry. I guess certain things happen for a reason.
Maybe so, but times change as do people. I could never imagine a Kotex commercial, a condom commercial or a E.D. commercial when I was young. Now they proliferate.
I remember when Lucy was pregnant on the I Love Lucy Show. They had to say "expecting." Ozzie and Harriet, June and Ward Cleaver, et al, slept in seperate beds. And so on.
Not @ all ! If u play , u must pay !!! (n she did aventually)
No, I do not think that it is fair. I have been wondering and asking the same question. Tara can drink underage and America sees this as a learning lesson. Vanessa Williams took nude photos- not a crime. Even after Ms. Williams get a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Mrs. America pageant fails to give her back her title for that year. Just like Ms. Williams, Vanessa Hugens took nude pictures. Nothing happened to her, her movies were not ripped from the shelves and she didn't loose a thing. Yes, times have changed, but not enough. Vanessa Williams was the first black Ms. America.....America wasn't ready and obviously now they still aren't!
I think that Trump has ulterior motives involving the Miss America and teen pageants, I ran up on a reality show with Tara Conner, ms teen USA and another woman who claimed to be ms USA or whatever, and it looked like a typical catty show about young females trying to one up each other, maybe this is why Tara wasn't stripped of her crown. While she exhibited conduct unbecoming of a young lady, drinking to excess, it's far different from posing in the nude, although I didnt feel it was fair to strip Vanessa of her crown either, I have NO DOUBT that she was not the first Ms America to pose nude at an earlier time.
some may say it the change of times. when Vanessa Williams did her thing, people were not OK with porn and sex tap like they are now . but i have to beg to differ that reason that Vanessa Williams crown was taken away was simple cause she was black and there were looking for any and everything to strip her of the title.

there is a lot harder judgment on blacks that any other race.

i know i pulled the race card, but it is true!
