In my opinon i think he married her without one cause he saw her with a good heart and he married for love. he felt she did the same.
As far as the judge decision its possible that she has stated that she has given up alot of what she used to do in order to be his wife and be at home. So she got used to the life style that was provided for her and it would be hard for her to go back to anything less. As it would be too hard and stressful.
She will most likely use the child as a way to get more money as well .
because the whole thing is clearly just an episode of passions- we just haven't figured it out yet! there are witches and tiny doll people behind all of this madness.
