Are Celebrity Clothing Sizes Larger Than Regular? (vanity sizing?)?!

Question: I was wondering if celebs buy clothes that are vanity-sized. For example, something that would normally be a 12 would be an 8. Is that what they mean when they say that Nicole Richie is a size 0? Because I'm skinny (125lbs, 5'5") and I barely fit into size-6 jeans! That's not to mention dress sizes. I'm broader on top, so in a dress, I'm like a size 8! Help me. Does anybody know real celeb sizes? I hate feeling fat!

The more expensive the clothing, in general the more generous the cut relative to size. You can test this out yourself if you go try on some of the expensive designer clothes at the upscale department store. Cheaply made mass marketed clothes are cut smaller to save costs, which isn't a concern for clothing marketed to the wealthy. There can be a significant difference in sizing, probably up to the difference between a 12 and an 8, depending on the garment and its style. So don't be discouraged! Celebrities aren't real anyway. And sizes 6-8 have historically been considered small. Forget about this size zero thing.
What the heck are you worried about? You weigh 125 pounds, that is small. Why would you concern yourself with how anorexic, nasty celebrities like Nicole Richie? What kind of role model is she anyways? She's never done anything worthwhile..riding on her daddy's coat tails.
