I'll try to help u the best I can. I read the book 4 school last year. The Greasers r the people who r tough, mean, slicked hair, not much money people. The socs are the rich kids that think they're so much better. They're fighting all the time cuz they hate eachother and they think they should stay on their own side of town and stuff. What Cherry means about the sunset is that she's trying to explain how the greasers and the socs are alike. She explains it by saying how both groups see the same sunset. It's a really good book. I think u can find the notes for the book online somewhere if u need to know more. Good Luck and I hope u feel better.

well there isnt a good reason for the fighting, just social diffrense. the greasrs are the poor ones (white trash) and the socs are the rich brats, so naturally they wont like each other.
cherry probably means like the sunrise and sunset
the book is much better than the movie (only no hot guys)... but i'm not doing your homework for you. sorry.
k like the socs are like rich and stuff and the greacers are like the pore ones who like to go around and make trouble and the socs are just mean and like to bully the gracers. and like cherry said that cuz like on the socs side and the greacers side of town u can allways see the same sunset. Its supposed to mean that on the inside there just like the same....they both are teens, who go through teen problems and both go to school and stuff.
