You'd be surprised at how many famous people book thier own hotels and such when doing things that are personal. When I was working I was being paid quite well to be descreet so thier privacy was maintained. I used to work for a company that supplied cafeteria, bars, and snack shops at the Standford Field Airport in Louisville, Kentucky and during Derby time everyone who is anyone comes through. William Shatner (owns a horse farm in Kentucky and had a horse racing that year), Mary from Peter, Paul, and Mary, - she was there for a woman's symposium. Ted Nugent, almost all the wrestlers that were popular in the early 90's such as Hulk Hogan, Captain Jack, Hillbilly Jim, Andre the Giant (that man was HUUUUUGGGGGEEE) ect.
Met and actually had a nice conversation with Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife when they were stuck because of Snow.We actually helped Bret Michael's from one of the hair bands escape fans one time - that was fun.
I worked the second and some of the Third at the cafeteria and alot of the lay over people came through. We even served over 12,000 soldiers going in and out during Desert Storm and Oliver North was with one of the groups going out at around 11pm - that night we were short handed and we served 117 soldiers with me serving plates and the register while our cook stayed over to restock and our dish washer made pizzas and kept the dishes clean.
Oh and before Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame passed - I had met him back in 1981 at a local restaurant. Well, that is about it and I learned then that they are just regular people and have a great since of humor and many are pretty nice and friendly. none Umm. I was a caller on a radio station hosted by Ryan Seacrest...does that count? zip but i want to talk to some disney stars. I've met dozens of famous people, but have only talked with 3 on the phone. I'm not giving names, but I'll tell you what they do. One is a famous comedian I dated for a few months, one is a major league backup musician who played with a "king", and the last is a very good friend of mine who was the lead singer of a huge 50's/60's group. Dylan Sprouse, Zac Efron, and Ashley Tisdale-I talked to them in my dreams!!!! haha.. very funny Ashley Vanessa!! lol i once worked at a small booking agency and only talked to a small singer once.
then I talked to this famous actress' boyfriend. he was kind of a jerk. why did she even date him? ah well. Oh you know, Michael Jackson calls me every night to tell me how his day went, and then there's Johnny Depp, he always talks to me about a book he read, oh and there's Derek Jeter, he calls me almost every day, unless he's playing a game then he doesn't call. And Al Pacino, I call him every once in a while, he's like a godfather to me. :-)
