Answers: Even if they know NOTHING about them. They read what somebody else has to say almost exactly the same thing even if it is not true. Has any one of them ever so much as MET the celebritry they're dissing? All they know about them has been spread through media, and much of media isn't even true.
I, myself am an Avril fan, and I'm getting tired of people saying shes such an attention getting whore. They say that she's changed herself so much from when she started her career, which IS true, but people are allowed to change. you don't have to remain the same way through your entire life - you can change things up a big. People - just because she has a new hair colour doesn't mean she's has a new personality. No matter what you say about her won't change the fact that her songs are beautifully written and shes an awesome singer. If you like her songs, listen to them, but if you don't we don't need to hear all the crap you have to say about her. I don't believe in fan worship...Personally, I just wish people would care more about their own lives than others...Maybe that would start a trend. True True, haters need to keep it to themselves! because they suck and i can say whatever the fukc i want about them!

Its proven that right when you meet someone, that first impression is forever installed in your brain, and even if it changes, and you see that person differently. I think people act that way because there really is no other way to learn about celebrities. How else could we judge Avril Lavigne's personality, actions, or image, except through the media? Since none of use will ever meet her, what other source is there? It is natural for U.S.'ers to form and express opinions on everything, even with insufficient information--it's a part of our arrogant, "I have to look like i know everything" attitude. People like to make themselves feel better by putting others down, even if they know nothing about them. It's very rude and presumptuous that you think celebrities are a certain way just because they are rich or are good looking.
I'll admit some people are very snotty or greedy, but what actual person isn't. It just seem magnified for them because they are always in the spotlight. Avril claimed to have written her whole album. Later writers/Producers on the album said this was not true. She co-wrote 2 songs which were not released as singles. She also said in Rolling Stone- her favourite band was the Goo Goo Dolls.... she had no idea what punk music was. She was just a product that was marketed to the right audience. She was also extremely rude in an Australian interview. Her song Girlfriend and the music video for it, is juat as degrading as a woman shaking her *** on any hip-hop video. She is saying that a guy should choose her because SHE is better??? What is going on??? Woman should be empowering women, not degrading each other to satisfy men. Anyway that is why I dont like her. And as for other celebrities- Paris Hilton- lazy, spoilt, party ****!!!! need I say more??? Everyone judges everyone. It is what stops us from walking near that guy who looks like a serial killer!!! hey its a free country we can say whatever we want, and until then i think u should get used to it. I know a lot of these celebrities and the life of Hollywood, and I imagine there are others like me as well. So I have a better perspective than most and, as I stated, so do some others.

As for you, your statements are hypocritical. You state that you are a fan of Avril. That doesn't mean you know her any more than any of the thousands of other people commenting about her, so you are actually in the same boat as they are when it comes to judgment concerning her. That you somehow put yourself above them simply based on the fact that you think well of Avril, whether she is deserving of this or not, doesn't set you apart from them. You still believe what you wish based on what you wish to believe, not on fact, and state those beliefs just as heartily as those people you rage against. Because a majority of peoples lives suck, are so mundane they feel the need to be the "moral judge" of anybody other than themselves.

Celebrities are just held under a microscope my the media so insatiably that they are easy targets.

My guess, and I'm fairly sure I'm correct in my assumption, is that it isn't exclusive to celebs, but other people around them as well (i.e co-workers, family members, etc).

Sour people are just that... Sour. well i bet it's more of how much money can she bring the record company.we all make opinions on everyone even on a daily basis the same way. it's not just celebs or musicians.it 's the people we see everyday.

I know. Today we had a movie star dress up day, and ALOT of people were Hannah Montana. One of my friends were Gwen Stefani. Well, she said Hannah Montana sucks and she hates her.
