Answers: do you think Kfed would be pushing so hard to get the kids. Say if she just worked at Cotsco or manager at Walmart do you think he still would try an take the kids. I Nah... I think its for the extra money because he's a failure. If Britney was a regular walmart girl she wouldn't have the drink/drug problems she has and he wouldn't stand a chance in hell. If she did still have drug problems I hope he would still be interested for the kids sake. I think that if Britney spears (and by proxy, Kevin Federline) weren't celebrities, a guy who called himself "K-Fed" who was trying to fight for custody would get laughed right out of court. Britney's mom would get the kids, or, they would stay with their mom, like millions of less-than-privileged redneck kids born to "common" mothers. The only reason the custody question is raised in this instance is because of Spears' celebrity status. I think some people are really underestimating K-Fed as a Father. Not as a person, but a Father. These are his children, not just Britney's...but his as well.

Any parent would want to protect their children, especially if they feel they are in danger. I think Kevin has really stepped up as a Father. We don't see him doing all the crazy things Britney is doing. Granted, I am not sure how much of a role money compensation is taking. But at LEAST Kevin showed up for the court hearing while Britney went to Starbucks. It just proves that Britney's children take a back seat to a Mocha Chi Latte.
