Im watching I love I love lucy (love it),they have GREAT chemistry,they seem really happy,not acting..what happened..?
Answers: she loved him sooooo much, but he was a lying cheating rat and she got sick of his cheating ways and finally told him to get out...she loved him til the day she died Desi married Lucy in 1940, and started divorce proceedings in 1944, but reconciled. They finally divorced in 1960 because of drugs, alcohol and his relationships with other women.
I watched 'I love Lucy' shows all the time, and loved them. I still watch them. I like the shows when they visit Hollywood. Yes, they did seem to have a great chemistry together. Ricky, he likey the ladies too mucho, and they weren't all Lucey They were awesome together, weren't they? I agree with the other post, he was a cheater, and she finally got tired of it. I don't think they ever got over each other. Sad. They were a middle aged couple, unfortunately it was a hollywood marriage to my mind as he was a player and was also a high profile gambler and clubber. Also alocholism was barely recognized in those days. Lucille lived moderately and was not a woman to live with a player. The books on their lives are sad and reflect the downward hoolywood spiral Desi unfortunately lived, like so many others even today. Harrison Fords sad marriage demise reminds me of this as also Eddie Murphy, Garth Brooks. But there are many many others. Its always money!!!!!!!!!!!!! Desi was an alcoholic and unfaithful but they really did love each other. Desi was good to Lucy in the divorce and they remained friendly even though they both remarried. They always publicly spoke fondly of each other. It really was sad because they couldn't live with each other but they also couldn't live with each other.
