Pardon the expression but I am sick of seeing her as half dressed like a streetwalker. She is a nice looking lady and I am sure she would look good in almost anything. Can someone explain to me why she is always half naked? Don't gove me that sex sells crap she actually has talent and doesn't need to sell her sex. Was she abused as a child or something?

Answers: Good question. I find that style of dress demeaning to all women regardless of their race or colour. She has the talent so why cheapen herself. Compared to the other young starlets out there she is dressing like a grandmother.

I believe he mother designs a lot of her clothes as well and her mother designs racy clothes. Her mom started out designing her stage costumes.
I agree with you in the fact that she is a smart, talented women. She is still young, maybe when she hits her 30's she will tone it down a bit, but fans expect to see her in the hottest, hippest, sexy outfits. Because she isn't a normal black woman. She is all that, and there for, dressed accordingly. she is sexy why not flaunt it. hehehe isnt she a good representation of a black woman? or thats Oprah? I am not a fan of both-- but Beyonce is an artist. sometimes people expect her to be flamboyant---concerts and music videos.
i am sure when she is invited to speak for the UN or the grammys she will dress appropriately. with house of dereon and all---let her live her life. :) Simple. Beyonce is not a "normal" black woman. She is a celebrity. As many of them do, they are constantly selling themselves for public consumption. She chooses to sell herself as a sex symbol. It keeps your attention and your money coming in. Pretty much like a streetwalker, but all you get is a CD and some peekaboo thrills. The great majority of young female celebrities behave the same way. I think it's because the "talent" is more about what they look like and less about the performance. Many will be sad when the looks are faded! Daddy makes her wear it.
And It attracts men. Girls want to be her.
And men buy tickets. And girls buy the tickets also.
And she sings up there half naked, because she knows what she's doing. Makes her millions of dollars. How exactly should a "normal black woman" dress? What century do you live in? She actually covers up a hell of a lot better than a lot of other celebrities. She covered up in such a long flowing dress that she fell down the stairs at a recent concert lmao. i think i saw miley cyrus wearing an outfit like this wow Beyonce is what you call a product of the industry. Her popularity and sales are based on her image, sexuality and her looks. Take those away and she is nothing.
She doesn't possess the singing talents like Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, the writing skills of Stevie Wonder, the legend like Paul McCartney, the wow factor or talent like Michael Jackson, the artistry of Alicia Keys or the acting skills like Meryl Streep.
She is over exposed and overrated and uses those three things to manipulate the public into thinking she is the best in the business right now. You have to ask. . sex sells. It's everywhere in every marketing scheme, you see a commercial for shampoo and it's sensual. . .it's just the way things are here. It's sad we're not more conservative, but it is what it is. I highly doubt that it has anything to do with her being abused or being trashy, it's just what "Americans" for the most part, want to see.
