Answers: It's not the song people have a problem with. But her performance at the VMAs wasn't her best. ahem
It's mainly her private life that people talk about. All the partying and stuff when she should be at home with her kids. It was a BAD performance so they just kinda ignore the song. "Gimme More" is actually pretty good. Because shes a crazy *blank* who shaved her head yet happens to write awsome songs. Her new song is really good and she is an anamzing performer. She has gone through many difficult times and I think people are focusing on her problems and the wild things that she does unstead of focusing on her as a performer. She is famous and is followed by photographers all the time. So, of course they are going to take pictures of her when she is being wild and interesting! It has nothing to do with her song. It's everything that's happened lately. Even if you think the song is good, few could deny that her performance was, to say the least, lack-luster. Also, people don't really care that she might just have problems with drugs and alcohol, they see that she's fairly likely to lose custody of her children, hear everything that supposedly happened to lead to her bad performance and review all that's happened with her in that past two years or so and form their opinions based on that. Did u see her at the VMA music whatever thing. She wasn't the best that day. It is not the right thing to do, no body should be mean to anyone. Britney has some issues to solve. I really don't care, I don't know her personally. She is not the first and sure won't be the last to go through hard times in life. Then again life is what one makes of it. I am not a fan of her, but do wish her good luck in life. Being mean to someone is something that goes on every day. There is good people and ignorant people. You sound like a very sweet girl.
Stay sweat greetings from Miami FL.... I know exactly what you are saying. I was a follower of hers when she was just a little girl singing "Oops...I did it again" and her younger years. I think she is a beautiful, THIN and talented girl, regardless was the press has to say. It was a good performance, and I do not know what they keep talking about it for weeks...yes I do...the press thinks people will listen, b/c it's Britney Spears and they have nothing better to say. All the people who have trashed her, are jealous, less talented and attractive. Ok they called her fat...hello she was thin...and having two kids...she's great in that aspect and she is still prospering and I saw she looks much thinner now. She also was on anti depressants because she did not want to wear the outfit or the clothes that MTV actually chose for her, she wanted to wear a one peice with brown hair...yet people blame her. I am so tired of it. They expected something like a miracle or like supernatural, Just b/c she is legendary. I think any one who bashes her 1) are jealous
2) have nothing better to talk about
3) are the press and think people will listen to them if they talk about Britney Spears.
4) or are people who listen to those tabloids and believe everything and if the press is bashing her, then they just go with it and repeat what they hear and might claim they made it up...and all...and just go along with all that...urg that makes me so mad.
All people who have said something bad about Britney Spears in the past few years, was 9/10 chances once a fan of hers...stuck by her...and listened to her music. They just don't want to sound like a loser if they like Britney and they want something to talk about.
So to your question, why you do not understand why people are being mean to her....neither do I. speak for yourself it's there opnion stop being so judgemental people are free to hate or to like ok that's just the world so suck it tp princcess Whos mean to Britney? She got into all of those situations herself and flaunted them in the public eye and to bad it all backfired, and she doesnt even stop, shes still doing it. She needs to leave the country for a while and go MIA then she can maybe come back classier and wiser and maybe shell have a shot at a comeback. i used to like her but then after her many scandals and how she's fighting now for custody for her kids, its just bad you know? i mean what is she doing with her life? she used to be all that but now, its like she keeps on making mistakes that's ruining her image... maybe fame and fortune got to her head?
