I think i have to correct greentea on this one(sorry)..... they did want to perform in Tokyo(Tokio).....they like the city very much......they chose hotel because when they became famous, they are constantly touring, resulting in their having to stay in hotels most of the time. Therefore,they thought the name "Tokio Hotel" very fitting.
