Each performer is tested every 30 days, by the most reliable HIV test available (known as an AIMS test). Furthermore, there are typically 2 to 5 people on set, not hundreds. I have only been on one set that had more than 5.
It is a bit of a trick as a male to get into the industry.
Understand this... Of all of the guys that think they will have no problems performing on camera, about 70% of them are wrong. To keep it up while you have between 2 and 5 people staring at you, you are starting and stopping, it is cold (I don't know why, but sets are almost always cold), is a challenge.
If he really wants to break into the industry, he should find a woman that wants to do so as well, and get her to say that she will only work with him. That is the best way to get directors to try you out. Eventually, if she wants to make it big, she will have to work with others, but if he proves himself on camera he should then be able to get work without her.
