Is Judge Judy even a real Judge? Like how do some people get a private court and some people get Jude Judy? I don't get how all that works. Any help?
Answers:
The Judester was a real judge for many years but she's retired now. The litigants on her show sign an agreement to drop their actual court cases and let Judy decide it. If a judgment is awarded the show pays it. This is how all these TV court shows work.
