Why are people so fascinated with Britney Spears??

The day that she started people would talk about her, but why? I know she is talented, she has a unque look no other girl looks like her, she is human.

There's something called the X-factor. For some reason, Britney has it. When she first started out, she was famous for all the right reasons- good album sales, good looks and great songs. She was very successful and became the richest female artiste in history (but not anymore right now).

Later she started doing stupid things- going to nightclubs, stripping, having adultery-like 'concerts', not wearing underwear and for relationships with various guys (marrying her back-up dancer Kevin Federline). She even married a childhood friend for just some 48 hours. She chills with Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

People aren't fascinated with her- just curious to know what she's up to. Because for one thing, she makes herself so 'accessible', it's so easy to find her half-drunk or in clubs or having lack of clothes. Then she doesn't bother to keep a low profile. In fact, she seems to be enjoying every second of fame.

She shaved her head bald and then suddenly had hair again. All this done for publicity. She probably doesn't feel like getting back into the studio and do some solid hard work of recording new songs. So, she finds new ways to be remembered and to still appear in magazines, even if it's for all the wrong reasons.

And you are right. She is human and just like anyone of us (except that not all of us do things that she does). People like the media just want to know what she's up to because they need that kind of information and gossip to sell their magazines.
