Why some people...?

Why some people want to know as much as they can about a TV star? And if you find out I don`t think it will change your life... I mean if you look at a reality show and see a "star" buying food or doing something, does this change your life? I do not think so. Some should not even be called stars - well in my country they should not, maybe in others too... a star or a "public person" don`t make me laugh... anyway. Do these things affect your life in any way? I don`t think so... but what do you think?

I can't stand reality TV, and I couldn't care less for the lives of any of the people who appear on TV (that doesn't mean I bear them any ill will).
I care about the lives of my family and friends, and that's plenty to keep me busy, I don't need to become obsessed by so called TV stars, as so many people seem to. They must have something missing in their lives or be socially inept to get so tied up in TV 'personalities'.
