John Entwistle, bassist for The Who, died in 2002 (age 57) of a heart attack. It appears to have been brought on by cocaine use. He died the day before the first show of The Who's 2002 reunion tour.
Founding members Roger Daltrey (vocals) and Pete Townshend (guitar) are currently in their early 60s and still very much alive.
