Answers:
Why should she be? She did her time as ordered by the court and while I'm no Paris fan, she did do way more time than anyone else under the same circumstances would do.
Added note to other replies I saw:
No one does their full time. If you get convicted for 18 years for manslaughter, you're getting out before that. It's how the system works, she did the actual time she was supposed to.
