Does anyone remember the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' video Don't Come Round Here No More from 1985?
At the beginning of the video, a woman playing Alice (i.e., in Wonderland) climbs a mushroom staircase to snack on a bite of mushroom given her by a sitar playing rock star in the role of the opium-smoking caterpillar. Check it out on YOU TUBE (search: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Don't Come Round Here No More). It's an awesome video. But my question is this: is that caterpillar BOB DYLAN or RINGO STARR? It has to be one or the other. The Mad Hatter is Tom Petty of course.
