What's prettier?!

Question:

What's prettier?

A supermodel like Petra, Tyra, Kate Moss. . . (you pick . . whatever model/supermodel you may think of) or Gwen Stefani?
I think the diffrence as I am now realizing is that a supermodel/model is BORN with beautiful genes and such, not that Gwen ain't gorgeous BUT I think if you took away the make up artist and bleach blonde hair she would look pretty dang AVERAGE, I love her & all but I saw her music video "Cool" & she had brunette hair, and she didn't look anything spectacular like when she has platinum blonde hair . What do you think?
I ask this because as an artist myself I was thinking of going lighter, but I've always been like that, to color my hair & stuff. Just asking though because everyone loves my natural hair color, which is like a light brunette color. People say I look very "elegant" with it and "striking" with my own color. But I can also wear blonde very well as well.
Oh, got carried away, so back to the subject.

OR . . beauty like Gwen Stefani? (something that comes along with fame) . . & I don't mean that in a bad way, we all know she wears alot of make up & diffrent hair color, which I admire and she does very well. It's her OWN thing & it's great!
BUT between the two, which one is a better asset to have regarding beauty AND why do you think that?

ok, this is all I can find for now but not too long ago I did stumble across a picture of gwen with no make up on and she didn't look as glamorous as she usually does, small lips & a very pale face, maybe I'll find it sometime

& thank! anwerer #2, I have changed my mind about lightening my hair because what you stated is so true, there are so many people who get their beauty from a bottle that it becomes common and uninteresting. I guess at one point it seemed cool but I think now I was in love with the idea and not so much actually going to a lighter hair color. When I've even asked friends about me going lighter, most would repond like , "why?' I guess nowadays you can look "unique" just by being natural because most people are into that "beauty in a bottle' thanks for your answer

I think natural (or genetic) beauty beats store-bought beauty any day. I see all these girls walking around with fake tans, fake hair (extensions), fake eye-color, fake nails, etc. and it just makes me wanna shake them!
Some of the most beautiful celebs out there are the ones that pull off a natural look. You see people with all the purchased beauty and it becomes so common that they don't look unique at all. I see girls like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and I think to myself, "What's the difference?" They're both just beauty from a box, so to speak.

As far as you dying your hair, you could do something gradual like maybe lighten your hair with blond highlights. If it works for you, then try for the whole shi-bang. The good news is, if you don't like it, it's pretty easy to go back to a darker shade versus you trying a darker shade and trying to bring it to a lighter one.
