Why aren't there american actors in harry potter?
I searched in on google and the link said "News: American actors still locked out of 'Potter'." so I clicked it and the website is down or somthing cuz it won't open. So I was just wondering if anyone knew why there werent any.

Harry Potter in based in London, so they want British people to do it. An American with a phoney accent wouldn't be able to pull it off. Besides, they want natives to Europe to do it, who know more about Europe and can get along with their co-stars better
